one trope I absolutely loathe that seems to be kinda popular is when one character has their feelings realisation because of a dream about the other character

it's not as bad if it's like. having romantic subtext with the other character in an otherwise random dream that sort of confuses the character about how they feel, I could maybe get behind that, but when it's specifically a dream about being with the other character in a specific, obvious and realistic way I'm immediately out no thank you
