Canoe Ridge Vineyard: all-season splendor

Yes, Precept Wine's Canoe Ridge. For the first time since acquiring this (25-years-old next year!) vineyard, we opened the usually-locked gates over the summer for the Horse Heaven Hills Trail Drive. The view was the talk of the drive! We had a lot of fun sharing the wines under the tent straight from the source.

A far cry from summer now--when sweltering temperatures had us chugging ice water--the view of the Columbia River of these 160+ acres is still nothing short of stunning!  Here, educator David Oldham, Vashon's wine guy Chris Youman, Eric Degerman of Great NW Wine and Precept's Camille Boushey and Lindsey Deck took in the view from the lookout. 

After the harvest, hey, there are still mycology finds popping up!
