Quinlan Vos' Hand Wraps in Legends
Contrary to popular fanon, Quinlan Vos doesn't wear gloves in Legends. He actually has hand wraps, like a boxer.
As can be seen from these images, he started wearing these wraps at some point after he left Kiffu to go to the Jedi Temple. In both Star Wars (1998) #36 (The Stark Hyperspace War) and #42 (Rite of Passage), he switches back and forth between having his hands wrapped and only his wrists, which I will honestly attribute to artists not paying attention.
We see here that he wore the hand wraps both when he was knighted and when he was Aayla Secura's Master (both panels from Star Wars Republic #83).
He continued wearing them throughout the Clone Wars, all the way through his last appearance chronologically in Republic #83.
Additionally, he is wearing the hand wraps in Star Wars Tales #11, which is dubiously Legends Canon but I'm including it because I love old man Quinlan. The date isn't stated, but it's after Order 66, prior to the destruction of Alderaan, and Han Solo is in his late teens or early twenties visually.
Does this matter? No, not really, but just like the 'sleeveless robes' thing I feel like it was something one fanfic author did that spread like wildfire, so I wanted to give some clarity for those who don't want to read 40+ issues of a comic themselves.
(Disney canon discussion coming in a separate post because Tumblr's 10-image limit hurts me)
