This blog will serve as a repository for my worldbuilding for the Mirialans, a near-Human species from Star Wars.

I intend to collect all canon/legends information on Mirial that I can find. This includes information from the comics, RPG sourcebooks, and other official Star Wars content. These compilations will be tagged ‘canonical lore’.

Sometimes I will theorize about different things in the lore in a canon-compliant way. This will be tagged 'canon is a box of scraps and i am making a quilt’.

My worldbuilding will include culture, government, language, and geography, along with whatever else strikes my fancy. It will be tagged 'mirial worldbuilding’.

Please feel free to send me asks! It pushes me to think about topics I wouldn’t have necessarily developed on my own.

I like/follow from colonelcaroldanvers and have a star wars sideblog at sithfox. I also have a sideblog for Kiffar worldbuilding at kiffu.

this was a very rough take on some of the mirialan fashion headcanons @royalhandmaidens shared a couple of months ago! you can probably tell, but I have a hard time designing, especially when it comes to color cohesiveness, so I periodically try my hand at it in warm-ups etc

at some point I was inspired by all the fanon and worldbuilding around Little Mirial in Coruscant , and I was trying to picture how the very warm and cozy and communal picture I have of Little Mirial would fit into the very cyberpunk, cool-toned ideas of Coruscant in my head. but I wasn't convinced by this blend, and none of my other concepts made it this far, so this stayed in my drafts
