I love the idea of jedi babies with psychometry just.... latching onto random things that have good memories attached and carrying it around like a teddy bear. Like baby Quin found a spatula with a memory of a kid and their parent lovingly making cookies in it and he slept with a dollar store spatula for the next 3 years. Cal found some silverware that a happy group of friends used for all of their special occasions, so his pockets end up full of comfort spoons. and forks. and butter knives.

Thinking about the fact that Cal would KNOW you have a crush on him.

There’s no hiding it.

Maybe one time you think about how handsome he is and your feelings accidentally etch onto the spoon you’re holding at dinner, then next time you and the crew are sitting down for dinner Cal gets the spoon you used last time and he can feel the thoughts of you thinking he’s handsome.

Maybe you closer the fresher door just to take a breath because you can’t stop losing the ability to breathe around him and you etch those feelings on the fresher button. The next time Cal goes to wash his hands after messing with Greeze’s plants he’s blushing into the mirror.

You hand him a wrench and he feels the pride you have in him because he’s so good at tinkering.
