Is it just me or do birthdays keep getting more lame the older I get?
Dammit
So today my workout sucked. It was hard to get to the gym to begin with. But I had it in my head that I would go. I would kill it. And everything would be better. That's not how it always works though. The gym was packed. My music was awful. Back day is my most uncomfortable. I just don't feel right doing the movements. My arm was doing this weird popping thing on pull downs. There were way too many bros in a very small area. And my anxiety was Through The Roof. I kept telling myself to just push through. And I tried. But anyone with anxiety knows that's not how it works either. So instead of doing a full back day, I did a warm up, and three exercises. Three. Out of nine. I'm bummed. I'm anxious. And I'm frustrated. It's a good thing I already decided to do phase one over again. I need to let this day go. I am eating well. So that's good. And yeah my workout sucked. But it was better than spending all day in bed. It was better than not doing it at all. I'm a very impatient person. So it's hard for me to be okay with how long this lifestyle change is going to take. So it's even Harder for me to be okay with me messing up during the process. Sigh. Better luck tomorrow I guess. Time to make some awesome turkey burgers for me and the BF.
