If you ever think of a compliment about someone pls tell them. I was told I looked like a princess one day my freshman year of hs and i still think about it 2-3 years later. A little thing like that will make someone's life. But be nice and kind about it- don't be weird or creepy. Just be good my dudes.
The metal bell loudly rings at exactly 8:00am, signaling first period just as the chattering in the classroom dies down as the teacher makes her way to the center front of it. “Class! The new student you’ve been hearing about for a few days is finally with us. He’s new to the school and our area, so be extra warm and welcoming. This is Axl.” The blonde teacher, Mrs. Katherine, announces with a bright smile before she’s ushering him in. A scrawny boy with long, straight, red hair, jeans ripped at the knees, a white t-shirt on, black high top chuck taylors placed on his feet and that’s also wearing a shy smile slowly walks in and stops by the teacher. God, he’s a nervous wreck. Been dreading the first day of school for three weeks now. Three weeks because that’s how long it took he and his mother to get situated in the tiny house they now reside at and get his named legally changed from Bill Bailey to Axl Rose. It’s strange carrying this new name but it definitely feels better after learning he’s never been Bill. He’s never truly been a Bailey either. He doesn’t know a lot about his piece of crap biological dad..he has to get used to saying that, too..but he wasn’t taking his first name. No way in heck. But plenty of people own the last name Rose so he decided to accept it as apart of his name at least. “Ooo, it’s a ginger. You’re into those, right, Connie?” A preppy blonde turns in her seat to tease her short brown haired friend with a snort. The girl named Connie just rolls her eyes at her friends teasing, trying not to eye the redhead. At least not until the blonde turns around and she looks back to him. She grew up on Venice beach, surfers everywhere. Surfer dudes with long hair so the length isn’t new to her. She’s not sure about the red hair, but he’s not bad in the face. He’s too shy though, kind of makes him look like a big dork so it’s further turning her off. The group of grease heads with long hair too (which are guys Axl never saw back in Indiana), decked out in leather are inquisitive of Axl. They find that he has a bitchin’ name and his hair and jeans are cool. Only because they’re pot smoking rock and rollers. But he doesn’t necessarily come off ‘cool’ to them either, doesn’t look like he has any potential of doing drugs or into rock music so they’re interest is short lasting. “He’s from the state of Indiana, quite a long ways. Feel free to say hi, Axl.” The teacher offers with a smile, Axl feels like groaning but gives a quick, “Hi.” to get it over with. Half of the class returns a hello but then there’s some of the annoying boys in the front yelling, “What??” or “I couldn’t even hear him, speak up, nerd!” Axl just ignores them, he’s good at it at this point. But one idiot is yelling, “WHERE’S that at? In no where land?!” The same guy laughs. “Well, Austin, if you got your head out of your rear-end during lessons and paid attention you’d know.” The teacher shoots back and class gives a loud, ‘oooh’. Grinning at their sassy teacher. Well, at least the teachers or this teacher is actually taking up for him in a way. Even the teachers, not one of them, ever took up for him at his old school. He doesn’t know this teacher has already looked over his grades though and this teacher gives students brownie points if they make good grades. And seeing that Axl is a straight A student she already likes him. “You can sit right there, in the middle section, beside of Erin.” Trying to figure out who Erin is, he sees her and is quickly looking away. Looks away because anytime he sees a pretty girl he just feels they’re going to make fun of him, especially the brunette he just got a glimpse of and now has to sit beside of. He’s way out of her league to even talk to, he knows it. Keeping his green eyes directly on his open desk, he sits down and places his backpack on top of the desk. Just remembering he forgot to bring his pencils once Mrs. Katherine begins to instruct to take out the text book beneath their desks and a piece of paper, he’s about to kill himself. He’s not asking any of these people for something to write with and he definitely doesn’t want to bring any attention to himself by asking the teacher. Looking under his desk just as the teacher is also adding, “And if you don’t have a text book, please scoot your desk next to the closest partner next to you so that you can share.” Which would be Erin for him since he doesn’t have a book either. Holding back a groan, hands fly up and cover his face. This is already a nightmare. She’s going to roll her eyes and make grossed out faces at him and everyone is going to laugh at him when she says she’s not sharing with him.
so many likes on my story and none of him
