( For cantalazarus ! )
Grieving the loss of underclassmen was something Nagito never thought he’d be doing in his life and honestly he hadn’t been too eager to such a realization. This didn’t make any sense and in his shock all he could do was go with the flow to the funeral pay his last respects.
There were many people weeping or outright bawling at the death of both Naegi Makoto and Maizono Sayaka; well he didn’t expect any less, the kids had been extremely popular and charming to everyone they’d met. Also apparently both bodies were discovered together.
“Can you believe it? They say it was an armed robbery. Whatever it was, it seems there really was a gun involved,” his own classmates were whispering and stood just off to the side of the 78th class students’ mourning.
Did it really matter what it was? Someone died, two people in fact. The fault would be for the authorities to decide, even if it managed to unnerve everyone in Hope’s Peak Academy there was nothing left to do.
Next day after class Yukizome-sensei warned everyone to be extra cautious on their way home and preferably in groups of four or more. Could it actually help? Far from him to question his teacher and then Souda, Kuzuryuu and Pekoyama were joining him by the school’s exit. The silence was quickly broken by chitchat and some jokes that brightened the mood successfully, he felt lucky for that moment.
