Here it is!  A demonstration of everything I’ve worked on in my absence. Particles, reflections, water and waves, new art, the whole deal. This is a proof of concept for the game, you can expect the final version to look fairly similar to this, with the only difference being some polish and probably improved art as my skills improve over time. What that means is I can focus most of my efforts on gameplay so expect future blog posts to show off platforming and puzzles in the coming weeks.

I need to rant this out of my system.

I work at a call center in my home country, here I met someone which at certain point was hitting on me non-stop even though I told him clearly that it was never going to happen because I am already in a relationship with someone. Okay. Fast forward some nasty exchanges with said person, he stopped hitting on me. Good.

So things happened and we end up working in the same team, so we have to see each other everyday because not only do we have the same schedule, we have to sit in the same row that our supervisor does. This was not a problem for me cause I pretty much do that he does not exist, but either ways it's impossible to not hear what he talks as he is already a pretty loud person.

Anyways, issue here and the reason to my rant, we were talking with a supervisor from another LOB (line of business) and it came to the topic of sex, and somehow it came to the conversation how he had placed a date for his girlfriend to lose her virginity because she was still a virgin.

And let me tell you that I exploded.

Not because of the fact that he has a girlfriend, but because of the fact that he said and I quote: "... well I told my girlfriend a date in which she will lose her virginity with me because initially she wanted to lose it a certain date and I told her no..."

To this day I have not heard anything more repulsive than that coming out of the mouth of a man (and politicians don't count). Because of the simple fact that he is NOT owner of her body!

So yes, as you can imagine first response was tell him how much of an a-hole he is for that and how repulsive and disgusting that is, to which he believed that he had the right to defend himself with (what he believed was an argument) that it was initially his girlfriend who wanted to lose it a certain day.

And here we go again, YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER OF HER BODY! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER IN DECIDING WHEN SHE GIVES THAT PART TO YOU OR NOT!

And the reason why this angers me so much is because, us as women, are fighting teeth and bone for our rights to do whatever the giant F we want with our bodies! It's no-one else's decision when we begin to be sexually active. It's no-one else's decision when we want to have children, or even if we want to.

It's OUR body. It's OUR rules. It's OUR decisions to make.

And I feel really bad for this girl that is dating him that's not realizing how he is manipulating her.
