You see RDJ is the only one I'd trust to deliver the "finish it" line because ok. The line could be read as a) a sad as fuck surrendering "look fine you win I give up please just take me down I'm So Tired" thing, b) a bitter "go on, do it, kill me, I dare you" thing, c) a last-ditch desperate pride "see what this has come to? Yeahh... anything other than her just getting knocked aside in a totally anti-climactic way is what I’m hoping for.

I have this fantasy that maybe seeing Nat is what makes his hostility drain away, because of his guilt, and he’s just unwilling to fight her or whatever, and she either uses that to her advantage or he flees the scene rather than actually harm her, or both etc. Idk the likelihood of that tho. :/

I'm really worried about bucky's fate on civil war :/ what do you think will happen to him?

Under the cut for spoilery spec.

Given the rumors that both Bucky and T’Challa have great, star making parts in this movie, what I hope happens is that we see the journey Bucky will take from brainwashed assassin to new Avenger. I’m fifty fifty when it comes to Steve potentially dying as in the comics so three things: a) Steve dies and Bucky takes over as Bucky Cap b) Steve dies and the Avengers (with Bucky) continue in his memory or c) Steve doesn’t die and Bucky becomes an Avenger.

I don’t see them killing off Bucky since Seb is steadily becoming popular (look what happened with Thor: TDW -- they were going to kill Loki but they changed course due to Hiddleston’s popularity) and he has such a lengthy contract. I think they’re priming him to be in more of the Marvel universe given his popularity and willingness to be involved. *shrugs*

I’m not too worried about what’ll happen to him tbh -- I don’t see him dying because to me, I could see it happen more to Steve to tie up the trilogy and his journey much more than Bucky but again.... I have no clue. We’ll just have to wait and see!

I am not really following news and twitter. Besides Scarlet Witch/Vision and Steve/Sharon is there any other sort of romance or connection being set up? Did I missed something?

I think Elizabeth Olsen clarified in her on-set interview that the SW/Vision thing is more of a weird bond that arises from their powers both coming from an infinity gem and not “pure romance”. So it’s a dynamic that gets some screen time but not outright romance from the sounds of it. And yes they’ve confirmed they play with the Steve/Sharon romance (and as far as I’ve heard it’s being set up to continue to grow into the IW movies). Also as far as I’ve heard there may be some kind of ground work laid for Bucky and Natasha to at least establish something going into IW as well. I suspect it’ll ultimately be something that could go either way and people’s reactions to it will determine what happens in IW.
