Ok so like. Red gets pretty attached to their partners. It’s probably an issue they should work out but doesnt due to their big ego. Purple knew about this because they dated Red for a bit before the nda. When the imposter takes ahold of purple’s memories, they remember this and take advantage of it. But then purple develops some weird want for Red. I believe in the headcanon that the “love” imposters feel is more a feeling of lust and a want for someone to be their possession. So Imp Purple probably develops a want to basically own red. But that’s where im drawing a blank idk where to go from here. (Sorry if someone already said something like this here i know a lotta people talk about imp purp and red here😓) how do you think red would feel about that want imp purple wants? .?

Tbh, they should. I do think the Impostors CAN love, their concept of love is just different from a Crewmate's. It's... consumption, plain and simple.

I think Impostor Purple and Impostor Red should eat each other down to the last drop.

It's still REALLY funny to me that Red would be SEETHING with jealousy over their alternate universe self who didn't sign the NDA. Look at them. Happily married with a Purple who doesn't look at them like they're scum. Some people have all the luck.

It's funny that Red is also "navigationally-challenged" when their job is literally NAVIGATION. They got Lime lost as fuck while Purple was able to direct Lime to Medbay no problem.

There are probably classes and trainings on different navigation methods. It's easy to get lost in space. Too bad Red sucked at all of them.

I do think Purple was, like, a Polaris scout growing up. So they still remember how to make really simple star maps to find your way in emergency situations. It's harder to make them in space, especially on other planets where the reference stars are wildly different and the layout of the sky is unfamiliar. A good, experienced Captain would talk about how they miss how the sky looks on their home colony. You can really tell the difference once you've been on a few expeditions. To Red, all the stars look the same.

Basically, Purple having to guide Red through making an emergency star map bcos their GPS was on the fritz.

PLS, I just love crossovers of canon with the other AUs where they could have been happy? Or at least, better than how they were in canon.

Bcos in Polus AU, they're like. Super flirty coworkers. Kinda dating and kinda not even if Red has a drawer of stuff on Polus and Red maybe has a ring somewhere they would NEVER actually give, hahaha, what do you mean what.

And in the canon-divergent NDA AU, Red and Purple being blissfully, peacefully married for half a decade while their canon selves are in their bitter divorce era. I do think NDA AU Purple would casually threaten their spouse if they knew there was a world where Red signed.

"Oh, I would have killed you." While slinging an arm around their spouse's shoulders. "So the fact you're alive at all means I really liked you."

"I'd end it myself." The other, not lonely, married Red says. "I'm just surprised I didn't yet. How can you survive fumbling that bad. Yikes."

I need NDA RedPurp rubbing their stupidly blissful marriage in everyone's faces right now. They finish each other's sentences. Red has their chin on Purple's shoulder and their thumbs in Purple's beltloops. Purple gives Red chin scritches. They just need to LOOK at each other and know what the other is thinking. They make everyone feel REALLY SUPER single.

I truly think, that if Red had reached out, even just TRIED, that at least Purple would know they mattered to Red and Red didn't abandon them.

But Red is like Bojack. Letting their own shame, guilt, and self-loathing consume them.
