the cape crow is a slender, large crow found in africa. they have notably long legs and wings in proportion to most other corvids, in addition to a thin, long beak used primarily to probe for insects. although they enjoy insects, they are opportunistic feeders known to feed on maize, fruits, frogs and fish, and even other birds weighing up to 1lb (including poultry). like other crows, they have a harsh call, and are social birds that prefer to stay in small groups rather than be solitary.
