Cape Palliser Lighthouse is one of the most isolated places I’ve ever been. This marks the point on the North Island of #newzealand where the Pacific Ocean meets the Cook Strait. To get there, you cross the Rimutaka mountains, go the length of Lake Wairarapa, and drive along the coast for 30 kilometers.
