I’m done.

Fuck capitalism, and fuck communism too.

The idea of the community being collectively in charge of everything is kinda… well impractical. So is the idea of a universal currency being replaced by trade. But I don’t like capitalism because it turns people in power hungry monsters.

My solution?

1: things every human needs, like food, healthcare, clothing, etc are provided to everyone for free. Luxury items you still have to pay for.

2: there needs to be a limit on how much money a person or corporation can own, maybe like 5 million for an individual and 10 million for a company.

Maybe I don’t really understand communism. If anyone more educated in communism would like to add their thoughts, please do. This is just what I think an ideal “ism” would look like.

"But Bezos built Amazon, Musk built Tesla and SpaceX from the ground up." No the fuck they didn't. Neither of their companies would exist without gov subsidies and countless workers who put their labor into the companies. Capitalists don't create value, they control capital.

Anyone can go hungry.

These are not moral failings. They can happen in an instant.

Most people are far closer to living in poverty than they realize.

We must fight for one another

What you own is NOT who you are. How you behave, how you treat others, what you do, what you say, what you don’t do or say, what you think, what you don’t think, what you believe, what experiences you create for yourself, what experiences you create for others, these things define who you are.
