i think he’s a super kinesthetic person, not in the athletic sense but in that he learns a lot via Doing It Himself or by using his hands while learning (like doodling while listening or tapping while reading, etc)
in that same vein, i think especially when he’s out of ME he just absolutely goes wild devouring knowledge, there’s suddenly so much he can do if he wants to. he’s such a smart kid who’s had such a limited world for such a long time, after all
and with that, maybe he tries everything. suddenly the things he’s allowed to do isn’t just limited to computers, cooking, and gardening, and while he definitely wouldn’t wanna abandon gardening or cooking when they mean so much to him, now there’s a ton more he can do. drawing, pottery, writing, maybe instruments, sewing, who the hell knows. the world is his oyster if he wants it
that being said, i do think he’d have to find comfort items/activities sooner rather than later. it’s terrifying to suddenly have your whole life’s foundation disappear and be replaced with a blank slate. i think that’s part of where his desire to keep gardening and maybe even keep programming would come from; it’s something familiar that he can recede into to keep his hands busy when his anxieties get particularly bad
with gardening, since he doesn’t have a limit on when he can do that anymore, this boy definitely gets freckles (but not before he gets way too many sunburns) blease someone teach him the magic of sunscreen
i think for a while mc has to help him figure out moderation too. almost all of his life has been lived in extremes, there’s no possible way he’s got a healthy lifestyle in any sense of the word, so i think he’d need reminders to eat or sleep on time, not overwork himself, “i appreciate it saeran but don’t forget to take care of yourself”, “you’ve been sitting in the same spot for a billion years it’s time to take a walk around the block”, etc etc
i think when it comes to the other members, he’d warm up to jumin and jaehee fastest bc of similarity in speech and tone, but once he opened up a little bit i think he’d have fun w teasing yoosung and zen too. maybe not to the extent seven does bc he’s a little softer, but he’s definitely got a prankster streak in there that yoosung especially would help bring out lmao
there’s gotta be jokes and lingo that fly directly over his head tho, saeran’s got mild grandpa tendencies when it comes to being Hip With The Youth (”mc when yoosung says dope or lit what is that”)
i think. it’d be hard for him at first but he’d still want to go to the parties w mc. of course he’d wanna go; his partner looks dazzling tonight and put so much work into this event ! but especially w the first few parties, knowing what he does abt rika and mint eye, there’s going to be that paranoia that she’ll show up somewhere in there, even if he stands and greets the guests with mc himself. this on top of the nerves that come w greeting so many strangers, especially after the newscast c&r put out and his name became well known
on a tangent, i think his party outfit might go in the opposite direction of what he wore as ray. of course it’d still be formal but i think he’d wanna stick more to pastels, partially bc of that note in his diary that savior picked the magenta coat so he’d look vibrant/stand out. i think the pastels would be part of his casual clothes as well, but the whole thing would probably be. not standing out in a crowd, that’s weird enough without the underlying anxiety of spending your life outside of the public eye
