I have been sharing stories, and posts as I have came across them. I don't always have the right words when I am in that sort of fury. . 🖤 . What happened last week in the Capitol was not unexpected. This Nation was built on the murder, and enslavement of Indigenous & African American People. In more modern times, it has carried along while placing stigmas on the LGBTQIA+ community. This Nation has never treated anyone fairly. Least of all these groups. Everyone who is Caucasian, or "passing," has turned a casual indifference to the struggles that these groups go through DAILY. What happened in the Capitol was terrorism. It was disgusting. Most of all, it was yet another display of a Wealthy, Caucasian Male NOT "getting his way," and leading a group of terrorist, who held similar beliefs into a violent attack. The media then told us what we saw. However, to those who watched it live? We saw these terrorist called "patriots." How ridiculous is that? Just think about that. If you, like me, see something wrong with that? You NEED to speak up. You need to continue to use whatever platform you have, and speak up. Because this is not going away. It isn't simply history. It's an entire life of a Nation built on racism, and hate. Learn. Educate. Grow. Take a stand. If we all speak up? We might finally see the change that is desperately needed. . 🖤 .
