Caprese Stuffed Burgers are a gourmet twist on the classic burger. These juicy beef patties are stuffed with mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil, creating a burst of Italian flavors in every bite. Finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, these burgers are sure to impress your taste buds.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, diced. 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish. Balsamic glaze for drizzling.
Instructions: Put the ground beef, diced mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped basil in a large bowl. If you want, you can add salt and pepper to taste. Be careful not to mix the ingredients too much, as that can make the burgers tough. Form the mixture into 8 thin patties that are all the same size. Spread some of the mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, and basil mixture on each of the four patties. Leave a little space around the edges so that you can seal the burgers. Place one of the other patties on top of each stuffed patty. Press the edges of the patties together to seal them well. Set your grill or skillet on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. The burgers should be cooked on a grill or stove for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. You can toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster while the burgers are cooking. Take the burgers off the heat and let them rest for a few minutes after they are done cooking. Put a tomato slice and a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun to make the Caprese Stuffed Burgers. Spread balsamic glaze on top of the cooked burger, then top with the other half of the bun. Have your favorite side dishes ready to go with your tasty Caprese Stuffed Burgers.
