totally! Just make sure the super has a weakness that can be exploited!

weaknesses such as ‘allergic to feathers’ or ‘weak to tickling’ do not count as they are oddly specific and wouldn’t really work in a fight. weaknesses that can be exploited while fighting are what you want! like, ‘weak to water’ or ‘weak to the sun’ are A-OK!

In response to the Corrupted Pearl and Amethyst what if the only way they could become uncorrupted was by fusing and becoming Opal. When they realized this, after some how fusing, they elected to never defuse again but still stayed away out of fear of the others not understanding the full extent of their situation

My intuition leads me to believe that there is a major issue on Homeworld that requires Steven, maybe to fill in the role his mother left open as Pink Diamond, to save Homeworld in a way only the completed Authority can which is why YD is doing what she is to be sure he can summon his shield since he will be tested on HW to see if he is fit to be PD and their test will be so much worse than what YD is doing
