The Diligent Manipulator

Manipulate is a word I want to reclaim (like sensitive -- when I say someone is sensitive, it's a compliment). If you look up the definition, it's about handling things in a skillful manner. Only in the second definition does the last word contain unscrupulously. 

The Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon person knows what a person needs. They can read the energy of the room and feel compelled to fix it. They seek and understand beauty and success. They are excellent creators and manifestors, the best in taste. They have a set worldview, and would very much like for you to come along, thank you. Your endorsement matters to them -- but trust them (actually, probably don't), they've done their research. They don't come to decisions easily. 

Their achilles heel lies in their desire to be both in charge and calling the shots, and wanting to be whisked away, to be enamored by beauty. Security is important to them, but then why is spontaneity and the bad boy, the fixer-upper so alluring to them? 

Their home is important to them, and its vibe is welcoming and well thought-out. Be a guest at their house at least once, but bring a proper bottle of wine. 

ATTRACT THEM BY: Listening to them. Ensuring that their decisions are the very best. Talk about your five year plan, but reminisce on how you wish their was a bit more flexibility in the definition of success. Can't we do it like the Europeans, who take the summers off? Where wine is cheaper than water? Think out the details of the gifts you give them -- make sure they're well thought out, practical, yet luxurious. Things matter to them and reflect what they believe you think of them. Perhaps something from Williams Sonoma? Mind their aesthetic, would you? 

REPEL THEM BY: Being cheap, having no goals, non-strategic conflict, putting them in disharmonious situations. 

MAKE THEM FEEL APPRECIATED BY: Noticing all they do and sincerely complimenting them on it. Asking their advice and taking it. Letting them be (to you) oddly spontaneous. 

IF THIS IS YOU, THRIVE BY: Balancing both your head and your heart -- for that matter, following both your head and your heart. Recognize your ability to read a room, even if others challenge you on it. Go for what makes sense to you. Enjoy life's little luxuries.

I am so grateful to be doing art projects daily! Idk how, but am I the only one who is still busy AF though?!?! I mean, I love creating content and posting it and executing these incredible classes so much.... it’s all I want to do but it’s not all I have to do. Currently as a full-time teacher to my kids, whip-cracker of a mom, full-time entrepreneur it’s been hard to enjoy what I’m doing fully. To be present in it!. . I know one day it will be even more fun though, hard work still, but more fun. I’m so ready to let my imagination Ooze with inspo and creativity like never before!!! It’s right there, I can touch it, prod it and poke it but the full release is not happening just yet. My big plans for April are in hold, as much of the world is on hold... but somehow I stay busy, shifting my normal and moving forward. (A lil too busy if you ask me. #capricornproblems ). . My philosophy is there is always something that can be done. While I believe breaks are necessary, I pride myself in helping others find solutions. I Have A Low Tolerance For Blatant Ignorance And For People Who Want To Argue With Me And My Point Of View Instead Of Sticking To The Topic. You Must Be WILLING To Open Your Mind And Build On What You Know In Order To Learn What You Don’t Know. I Know That I Don’t Know As Much As I Know So I’m Always Willing To Ask Questions To Learn About A Topic So I May Understand The Person Who’s Delivering The Message. For Example, Yesterday I Was At A Majority White People Healing Event And The Orator Said “There Are More Poor White People In America Than Poor Blacks.” Instead Of Arguing Because “I Know” That’s Not True, I Questioned How She Came To That Conclusion By Doing My Own Research When I Got Home. I Found Out That America Is Over 60% Populated By Whites And Blacks Are Less Than 20% So That Means That If There Were 10 People And 2 Out Of The 6 Whites Were Poor And 1 Out Of The 2 Blacks Were Poor, Then Duhhh There’s More Poor Whites! However, 50% Of Blacks Are Poor And Only 30% Of The Whites Are Poor So Percentage Wise, There Are More Poor Blacks Than Whites.
