        - – “ in my defense, this is my go-to cafe for getting work done and mostly everyone knows that, so can you really call it a gut feeling? ” irene chuckles at her own quip before peeking over at the paper bag in nikitta’s hand. knowing the latter, she most likely came to purchase more bread to satiate her ever-growling stomach, for which irene never failed to tease the girl. donning her signature cheshire grin, she continues,  “ seems more like you came here to actually fill yourself up with more bread rolls. wouldn’t that make it more of a chance encounter than a ‘gut feeling?’ ”
