Ya know what sure. A little treat can be had since I'm not drawing much rn.
Odd little thought as I stare out the window at work but in a way, cosplay is sort of like lost media. I started cosplaying in 2007, made over 50 costumes in that time, and +95% of those costumes are gone. Either sold, donated, or outright fell apart most unceremoniously and dumped in the trash. All I have left are pictures. Hell, I have a few costumes where regardless of the hours I put into making the outfit, all I have left is a single selfie. Most of the photos are posted on my abandoned instagram but if that ever gets taken down for some reason? Poof gone, like they never happened.
I do want to get back into cosplay but I can't really see reposting nearly 2 decades worth of cosplay on tumblr as this isn't really a cosplay site, or anywhere else just because it's a hassle, so gallery screenshots will have to suffice 😂
I dunno, just an odd thought...
Saw a very cute Azura redesign on Twitter and it made me start missing when I cosplayed her 8 years ago... for all the effort that I put into making Azura's outfit, it's a shame I only wore it once 🥹
Gonna be a little bit of a whore but I was very pleased with my makeup for Cass today and managed to score a shoot on short notice! I'm super excited for the photos 🥰
Friend on Twitter reposted our cosplays of Sothis and Rhea from 2020, and now it is missing cosplay hours (it's 1am).
