Re: my last post, I feel like Yeager and Griff are kindred souls in the way they were both exhausted with their colleague’s love life drama during the war and now still to this day meet up for ‘bitching over the dozas’ sessions from time to time

Well... I kinda predicted this in Lie to Me? xDDD
Except that the First Order failed in my story and Hux was betrayed and left for dead?
Anyway, it was certainly a good surprise seeing Dantooine mentioned in such a good situation and in a similar situation I pinpointed in my fic before.
So Venisa convinced Imanuel Doza to defect from the Empire who in turn convinced Griff Halloran to defect
Venisa: Come with me. Leave it all behind.
Doza: Oh yes, angel.
Doza jumps into Venisa’s arms.
Venisa: Now we will fly, just you and me. Just us two, flying to the stars...
Doza: Actually, there might be one more joining us.
Suddenly, Griff Halloran jumps onto Doza’s arms and Venisa has to carry the both of them.
Griff: Can I come with?
So Griff Halloran becomes this third wheel hanging around Venisa and Imanuel.
It’s about time (to see if he’s such a good combat pilot)
