wanted to illustrate how TERRIFYING she actually is ,while also being whimsical and silly .

for the context ; donny thought she was Lucky lancer for SO LONG through the whole sailing . for a whole trip. he thought she was someone else . until she went "HHEHEHE HOHOHOHO actually nah i killed that guy years ago because he was so ASS" logically she could've just killed him. but she didnt. she wanted to have more fun on a longer term (btw the way she patted his head teasingly was part of her act as Lucky back then . she's teasing donny in the worst ways)

ok so remember the little context i talked about of how Scallywag was deadass pretending to be "Lucky" Lancer? and how Donny REALLY believed the act ? and kind of.. genuinely thought she was actually his idol? yea ok lmao let that sink in

get it? sink? because- because the ship drowne- jokes aside i enjoyed working with the symbolizm here, the lil fake angel symbolism and red sea almost the same color as Donny's blood and all that hoohaa .

lil funfact about Lucky Lancer is that he's tall af, almost as tall as Scallywag. his whole deal is that he's very much the "old bulltop stormalong" of this universe. his story was exaggurated and lies were told but half of it is due to the fact that people could never pinpoint the moment lucky was no more and the only remain was scally pretending to be him, it's all foggy in that aspect , because for the longest time nobody knew he was gone, until Donny's first sail. the only person who knew exactly almost everything is Donny because scallywag told him personally
