Hey Holly, since you have become famous for saving the world many times I can imagine many woman having you as their role model and trying to become captain as well.

There’s definitely been an increase in female applicants to the LEP in recent years. To put safe guards in place would require me going political, which is something I never wanted to do. I don’t want to become like the Council, who see the ends as justifying the means.

I do make the rounds, though. I show up to interview hearings, sometimes, more to intimidate the judge panel than anything. I go to schools and talk about my job and how awesome it is. I do interviews to rile up the Council when they do something sexist. A lot of this Commander Vinyaya did: she made a lot of strides toward making women in the LEP visible, and I’m just picking up where she left off.
