Hello everyone! I was asked by @guineapigzwei to try some headcanons for Cody, Rex, Wolffe, Fives, Echo, Kix, and Hardcase with a pregnant S/O.

So...I tried it! I kinda went overboard and had fun doing this and actually made it too long. SO I’m making it into a few posts. Hopefully, brings some joy to ur day. Let me know if you like it ✌️

First post is Cody-Wolffe:

Cody:

* I feel like he’d be afraid at first?

* He’s like, “Haha, (Y/N) you’re hilarious.”

* After u don’t respond, he kinda is like oooh this isn’t a joke.

* Mainly afraid because he doesn’t know how much he can be there for the kid, and also, he could uhhh perish?

* Plus WHAT IF OBI WAN FOUND OUT?? Wouldhe get in trouble???

* But then as you start to progress he starts to become more comfortable with the role

* Like, he shows up at ur place while on leave loaded with all ur fave snacks, drinks, vitamins, whatever u need

* He’s like I hear u will get cravings?

* He realizes that this child is something he can give you even if he has to leave?

* He lets u know he’s committed to u both no matter what

* DAD JOKES, starts saying ALL the dad jokes

* He likes to tell them to the baby when ur asleep

* SWEARS the first kick happened as a result of his joking

* He gets a nooma doll because waxer and boiler day it’s cool

* He was somehow able to meet u on coruscant for the birth(crazy I know but obi wan was drunk and gave them all a night off)

* Let’s u hold his hand as much as u need

* (Regrets this later when his hand is bruised)

* He doesn’t know what to say when he holds the baby.

* Just holds it and stares and they stare back at him

* This goes on for awhile

* It’s cute

* He doesn’t know the first thing about parenting but, he loves the baby so come what may

Rex:

* First thought is “Kriffing hell”

* Don’t get him wrong he lives u and is actually excited to be a dad!

* But...he has a lot of responsibility and some life and death stuff going on.

* Worries about not being able to be a good dad.

* What if the kid hates him??? What if the kid never gets to know his dad??

* You talk some sense into him tho, as in that, whatever time he can give will be enough. ❤️❤️❤️

* He started texting MORE

* sends updates about what he’s doing so he can know how ur doing

* He sends u bad karaoke vids because kid mentioned something about that being good for the father baby connection??

* U love it and it makes u laugh

* As time goes on, loves getting updates from u about the baby via holo-net

* He may or may not be taking souvenirs from each planet to make a sort of collage for the babies room.

* When he’s home with u, he cooks and cleans

* Tries to make u feel really special

* He can tell how ur stressed and scared about being a parent and he is too but. He’s so happy to be doing this with u.

* After umbara (if pregnancy is around then) he cries at the thought of what’s happened, and the thought that he could’ve left you two so easily.

* But also, he realizes that this parenting thing is just one of many ways he can make his own decisions and be his own man

* SHOWS UP LATE TO BIRTH BUT WITH STUFFED ANIMAL AND SOUVENIRS

* ur kid will stop crying ONLY in his arms

* This baffles him

Wolffe:

* When u tell him the news he’s deadpan SILENT

* he slowly gets up and gets a drink of card, swirls it and sips it.

* Ur thinking well...this is going bad????

* U know him enough to know he’s SCARE D

* He tells you he needs a second

* AND OH BOY HE IS SCARED

* he honestly is like how can I be a father?? I don’t even have a father???

* Thinks he’s too mean to be a dad

* But also like...he’s more scared because a part of him is excited by it???

* Like somehow this grumpy, mean man can not only have you, but somehow you guys were able to make something from both??

* The thought of having a fresh start with someone is kinda amazing too

* He finds u and says So, if what can I do to help us do this?

* You cry some happy tears cuz u know that was better than expected

* As progresses, he sends u ALL the free samples of diapers

* Sends links to things like nearby schools and daycare

* He’s already planning out his schedule to make sure he can be there with u and FOOD and whatever u crave when he’s on leave

* He’s willing to hold ur hair back, snuggle, rub ur back anything. For u to be comfortable.

* He understands how much this is hard on u and WORRIES

* TBH he’s somehow more crazy and worried about the birth than u

* “Did you take ur vitamins today (y/n)?”

* It’s endearing tho especially because he’s so scared

* Can’t be there for the birth originally BUT PLO Koon May or may not kinda know about ur pregnancy and totally support u two and what he views as the birth of his new grandchild SO

* somehow for some weird made up mission makes sure Wolffe can be on coruscant for the birth

* ComES RUNNING IN

* V LOUD

* like IM HERE FOR MY CHILD AND WIFE ARE THEY OK?

* When he walks in and sees u and the kid he freezes

* He cries when he holds them and they hold his hand

* Tries to name them after PLO Koon regardless of variation

* From then on calls them his pup

* U and the child received gifts, formula, a cookie basket “anonymously” from Plo Koon and the Wolfpack
