(this section (until the word "tuesday") is directed towards miry but i forgot that tumblr is public so if ur not her, you can read it too) SORRY TO MAKE THIS TAKE SO LONG I FINISHED THIS SATURDAY (arguably sunday i stayed up till 1:24 am finishing the words) but i didnt think i would be able to live with myself if i DIDNT post this on a tuesday

ALSO sorry if the shading looks weird. ever since i started drawing in mspaint i decided to do very simple shading (seen below) (not like i ever did complex shading but still)

so for some reason i decided to be experimental with this and change the light in their hair and add black but then i cut down the black cause it felt like there was too much and i just didnt like the way it looked

literally everything in this drawing (other than their heads) was drawn without guidelines. i, for some reason, just dont use them. (yesterday was genuinely my first time using hand guidelines) (AND IT WASNT EVEN FOR THIS)

i dont even read lu. i liked it back in.. 2023? so ill always have some connection to it, but outside of that, there isnt really much (i THINK it also helped me form my current zelda au??)

its really annoying writing in jspaint when you refuse to use the text feature. (the previously mentioned "stayed up till 1:24 am finishing the words")

also i kept the black on wars' (wars's?? idk they didnt teach grammar and stuff like that where i lived i really dont know which one would be considered correct) shoulder cause i thought it looked cool

also also i would give them a background but it DIDNT look cool when i tried soo

Alright now this is a rant I've been keeping for myself for a while and honestly- I'm tired of keeping it in. I know this may sound selfish or sorta 'pick me' attitude or whatever but I haven't been receiving as much notes as I did when I first started out and maybe that's because my blog opened during summer and all of us have more free time then so I could interact with people.

Now all of you are busy and so am I, got it. But it's a shitty feeling.

One of the people I follow managed to go up to 1000+ followers in only a couple of months. I'm both happy, envious and angry at the same time, it took me half a year to get that and now it just discourages my writing skills as a fanfiction writer.

Human emotions are difficult to control and the moment you see someone more talented then you are in the same field...It's horrible and I feel insensitive, untalented- to the point where I even considered starting over.

I hate it cause then I feel like an absolute jerk with no compassion whatsoever.

Idk if its just me but I needed to write it down somewhere, don't attack me for saying this. You can all ignore/scroll away because I just needed to get something off my chest not ask for an opinion on the matter.
