Tormund yawned and stretched, tugging Liam closer as he dozed, content to make the most of this lazy morning after their late night. He’d dragged Liam out, insisting the man live a little before he ended up an curmudgeonly old man, and after some gentle pushing the man had agreed, and they’d spent all evening drinking, talking and dancing until the sun came up. 

Or so Tormund presumed, there were large portions of the night that he couldn’t entirely remember. He remembered the emotions of enjoying himself thoroughly, but other than that and the fact they seemed to have both made it home in one piece, that was all the information he had to go on. 

It was only as Liam fidgeted under the blanket that Tormund realised that perhaps something more significant had taken place that night. As his partner moved, the redhead could clearly see his left hand peeking over the blankets, a band clearly present on his fourth finger. Fuck, he was in for it now. While the bearded man was actually pretty happy to be married to his Liam, he had a sneaking suspicion that the man was going to be decidedly more upset than he was that he couldn’t even remember their wedding.
