I came into possession of this due to a recent thrift store find and genuinely didn't know what to expect. It certainly hits the ground running and does fine at seeding the universe throughout the story, and it is a unique visual spin on an otherwise just standard science fiction story.
As one of the earliest books by this publisher, it has a nice couple pages explaining the background of how it came to be. It also has a few text only stories which helps convey their idea of a magazine instead of just a comic book which is another neat distinction
Wishing the best to the people at Ahoy Comics because I don't know how much traction anything got, I haven't seen much discussion online whatsoever.
FAVORITE: The first panel gives you a heads up to EXACTLY what you're getting into
