One way is to throw the full deck into anki, and then create a separate deck to study from. Go thru browse and move the appropriate cards into your study deck as desired. Might be time consuming tho.
I was having trouble copy pasting cards without moving the cards themselves but I ended up just moving them.
Did you use the bros’ deck for step 1?

You, my friend, are a beast. I was close to crying after only doing 600-ish in a 4 day span.
It helps that I actually really love driving, so long as I have open roads. Granted that the route I was taking (up and back down a good chunk of the 95 corridor) is not the best place to find open roads, but doing a fair amount of driving in the middle of the night helps with that.

Oh gosh no! That would be terrible. Our curriculum is weird so I’m finishing up second year right now. We start clerkships January of second year and take Step 1 after we wrap up rotations, in January of third year. Because we do our clerkships all over the country, they only have us come back and test after we’re done with a “track”--either two or three rotations that kind of relate (OB, Gen Surg, and Surgical Subs, In/Out Patient Medicine and Psych, or Peds and Family Med). This coming week I’m testing OB and surgery. I won’t really be back at school again until the end of July, when I test FM and peds, and then after that I won’t be back until December, when I test medicine and psych to finish up clerkships.
Maybe you'll luck out. My home program gives those on night shift an excused absence for the day's lectures. Schools get a LCME smack on the wrist for making students pull those kinds of hours.
I don’t think so. I was not listed under the students exempted from didactics, and the other mandatory didactics.. the only way I can get out of those is if I die... and maybe not then.

Third year grading is such a huge, steaming pile of bullshit. Haha.
Dude for real haha. It seemed like my psych attending just went down the page and tossed in some substandard scores to make it look like he was trying. I’m a little curious as to how else I’d get an “average” for integrity. Didn’t drop my letter grade though, so I wasn’t that upset.

Do you guys have any slightly lower level? We're doing honors/pass with commendation/pass/fail now. Hoping to get a PwC on OBGYN/Peds and an Honors in FM!
Ours is honors/high pass/pass/fail with the shelf exams subdivided into pass/low pass. Hoping I got honors on my first IM rotation since the rotating intern did ours and she liked our team... of course, she also left us with some parting advice that shelf scores and evals didn’t really matter as much as we thought. Nor does Step 1 as long as you passed and killed Step 2.
She’s in a pretty competitive specialty so I feel inclined to take stock of her advice.

Prolific, right? I’m a little upset I didn’t get to round on this patient (day shift). Having just come off of psych, this would’ve been quite a case.
But maybe it’s for the best. I’ve already had my hands full this week... literally.
