Just wondering,

What do we do if our last trigger was caused by someone's reaction from their last trigger as well?

Do we just keep quiet and understand the state they're in? But what about us?

Growing up, I was never neglected— technically.

I had a roof and food and sometimes, people too.

But truthfully, it feels like my needs were never given.

It always felt like I was raising myself.

I had to soothe myself when it rains.

I always embrace myself and pat my back for a job well done.

I mastered how to manage myself— happy, lonely, and empty.

I grew up calculated — but also in shambles.

And now, people call it independence but it feels more like negligence. It feels strange to have people worry for you or look after you.

I was always the giver — being receiver feels strange and selfish. Maybe, I was at some point, neglected.

But love not accepted is a love to let go.
