Uther or the Regent?

“or” for who I like better

as people, they're both genuinely terrible, lmao. and it's a toss up between which is "worse" considering one is sort of abusive in a more passive way while the other is a serial child molester who used his power to normalize CSA within his court so he could parade it around more freely, and one is a generally sort of bad king while the other committed a 20-year-long genocide. so.

i guess, as characters, i found Uther more interesting? just by dint of him being more of a well-rounded character with more emphasis placed on him and his thoughts, which was on purpose i think considering the Regent wasn't even granted a name, haha. he was supposed to be a villain with no real inner life explained to us because we're not supposed to sympathize with or relate to him or anything like that. so Uther is the one that i can explore more, as a character. i guess that counts as liking him more.
