“Captain,” he greeted with a smile and an extended hand. “I’m Chief O’Brien. I’ll be taking a look at Voyager later with my team.” 

Already Ops was abuzz with the news of the Voyager docking in DS9 and Chief O’Brien was delighted to know that he would be one of the few engineers to do the finals checks on it before it was dispatched to the Badlands. He’d read much about it in the past week, but reading and seeing it were two different things.

J/C <3 Valentines Day, together single

Tom was celebrating Valentines Day in the mess hall. Against the protest of B’Elanna and the Captain he had tried to decorate the mess hall properly, and in Tom’s case this always meant cheesy. He even could win Neelix and Naomie for his idea so they had cut out paper hearts in red and pink and placed them everywhere. Chakotay had been there for a brief moment to show he cared for the crew, then he disappeared quickly since he felt a bit lonely between all the dates. 

He sat in his quarters, discussing whether he should bring Kathryn a bit chocolate and flowers or not, he had already replicated the chocolate but he wasn’t sure whether she would like it or not. As the door bell rang, he stood and straightened his uniform, opening the door a moment after. “Captain.”, he said surprised as she stood behind the door: “Want to come in?”, he offered.
