Her hand drops and Char props herself up on her elbows, lying back down flat with a vague grumble after a pointed look from McCoy. See, this is why she doesn't like sickbay, she has to behave.
Once settled again, Char offers the Captain a look that lands somewhere between sheepish and amused. "I was fixing some faulty wiring, apparently it still had some charge left, the shock threw me off the gantry, so now I get to lie here until the doc runs out of tests to perform because none of them give him any useful data on me." That last part is said in a stage whisper, but she doesn't doubt that it carries.
