Question, how does the LoveSquare work in Gattinera and Bug and Shell?
Bug and Shell(d) is easy, Nino has had a crush on Marinette for years but has never confessed or otherwise shown signs.
Marinette fell hard for Carapace after he stood up for her during Stoneheart 2:Electric boogaloo.
So Ninette is reverse Canon Adrienette, CaraBug is Reverse LadyNoir. Caranette is Ladrien and NinoBug is Marichat.
Gattinera is harder, as it’s not a lovesquare yet. Right now it’s essentially Marichat but with Ladrien Vibes.
Lila currently isn’t in a place to be thinking about romance as a civilian but when she’s Gattinera her thoughts are free to go where they please.
And they go right to Marinette.
It will eventually become a love Square, possibly, when Marinette falls for Gattinera but by this time Lila would be able to pursue Marinette as Lila in stead of Gattinera.
So it just become a massive mess.
This is an AU where Nino has had a crush on Marinette/Ladybug for years when she gives him the Turtle Miraculous and asks him to join her team. After a few bad turns, she ends up in a battle alone. She holds her own but gets hurt doing it and Carapace jumps into protecting his hero and the woman he loves the best he can until their teammates can make it to them. At some point I will hopefully actually write this all in story form, but for now, here is a comic.
