OH MY GOD!!! That is nuts we DID ask each other the same thing!! 😂

1. Jared Harris in whatever role he is currently in! I’ve done a painting and several digital artworks so far!

2. James Fitzjames by Tobias Menzies because he is beautiful!? These have mostly been digital..

3. Fitzier & Valoris take this spot! All digital and all posted on my blog 😍

4. people I find attractive and interesting to draw in general 👀 these tend to be sketches in varying graphite pencils, watercolours, and fine liners. Sometimes biro!

5. people I find interesting while out and about! I’ve not done much because of the pandemic, which is why a lot of work has been digital on my blog! 😄

Top 5 favourite places? 🌻

I. Dublin, Ireland 🖤 City of my heart, country of my soul.  I may be half First Nations, but the other half of me is Irish.  I miss it (and my family!) every day and wish I was still living there, though in many ways I feel as though it was just yesterday that I left.

II. Potsdam, Germany.  I lived in Berlin, technically, but I loved visiting Potsdam whenever I could.  Such a lovely place!  Also, shoutout to Wetzlar.

III. The Rocky Mountains!  I grew up in their shadow and I am always happiest when I am there, whether I’m driving through them or hiking with my friends up to the glacier lakes.  Soon I will be skiing them 🖤 I cannot wait.

IV. Batoche & Fort Carlton, Saskatchewan.  My grandparents took me there when I was younger a few times (my kokum died when I was six and before my youngest sister was even born; my paternal grandparents were largely the ones who fostered our connection to our heritage, despite their not being native), and I went again as part of a pre-law program when myself and my classmates were invited to attend the exoneration ceremony of Chief Poundmaker in 2019.  Something about it just calls.

V. Alberta.  All of it, really.  She is where I grew up.  I love her from the prairies to the forests to the mountains and to the rivers, and I have a deep connection to this place, past and present.  I love Alberta.  I always will.  Even when I no longer live here, I will love it.
