Carbon dioxide is a feedstock used in making anything from plastic to concrete. So why not pull it out of the air rather than taking it out of the ground?

Mother Nature Dissents – The Atlantic
Mother Nature is entering a dissenting opinion on last month’s Supreme Court decision that weakened the federal government’s ability to combat climate change. With record heat in Texas that is testing the state’s power grid, a California wildfire that has threatened an ancient grove of sequoias considered a foundation stone of the national-park system, and persistent drought across the West that…

Atmospheric carbon levels are probably stuck at 400 parts per million, scientists say.
Welp...

Shower thoughts
I had a thought in the shower. A common one for someone like me. With the carbon levels rising, and the over-deforestation... I thought about trying to open up a large reserve for nature itself. An area where nature can go wild. When I say large, I mean possibly larger than Yellowstone National Park or something... I wish to some how get it to work over years, hundred aiding friends, a lawyer for certain possible pressing issues, and a butt load of seeds. Perferably local trees, tall grass, bushes and others. I was also thinking about maybe doing the same for a lake. I'm aware it would cost a lot, but if I was to do a master plan, I want to do it my way. I don't want my life's master plan being nothing but a wimpy simple 5,000$ sky diving trip. I want something that could help us, help and keep earth. And maybe try to heal it after all the harm we put through it. And not to mention, challenging. Call me crazy. But I'm my own kind of crazy. Unique.
