Vergil doesn't fight as he lets Q wipe away the streaks of blood caked onto his face, sitting silent and still as a statue. However, the trembling hands do not escape his attention. He brings up his own hands to gently cradle them.

"It's alright," he says softly. "I've been through worse..."

The quiet groan that slipped out of Q's throat made him tense up for a moment, but only a moment, since there was no one else around at that time of night, and he had no problem with Paloma exploring while he was leaning over his worktop.

"Sorry. You don't have to stop, it's nice." For a brief moment, he settled his hand over hers just to reinforce that she didn't have to pull away, his breathing catching again before he let go to allow her the control over it. She knew better, after all.

"I really like you too." Q smiled back at her and then paused, head tilting slightly to the side. "Are you trying to get me to do your paperwork..?"

He absolutely had not paid attention to the movie. It was something that they had both settled on the night before as something simple and goofy to put on. To relax to. Robert had been more invested in annoying Betsy for the first bit, sure, sue him. It was not that he was completely ignoring the movie and purposefully not paying attention. He was sure that Q had not been paying all that much attention, either. And when Robert had tried to focus and watch the rest of the movie? Well. It had been pretty easy to fall asleep to.
