Also astrology saved my fucking life. Human design saved my life. Cardology saved my life. It continues to do so. Every time I get to the lowest point, and nothing feels worth it or matters here these spiritual tools introduced me to another part of me that reminds me that I’m exactly where I need to be. Reminds me that who I am in this moment where I feel so lost, unbelonging and shameful is exactly who I am supposed to be right now. It reminds me of the quote from The Mastery of Self that says “I wonder what the world would look like today if some of our modern religions taught that self knowledge, rather than blind adherence to external guidance and dogma, was the paramount goal of the spiritual path.”
The unconscious familial agreement of your 2nd House
The 2nd House(2H) in Astrology rules your values, family lineage, resources, and earning power.
A lot of the times we are subconsciously connected to the values we were taught. These inherited values can distort our personal 2H signature. Let’s disrupt the financial pattern fucking your money up.
☀SUN influenced 2H: ♌️ or Sun in 2H
They told you that being proud and confident would bring the wrong attention. Now you cringe at it… but your finances thrive when you ACCEPT the spotlight not shun it.
🌙MOON influenced 2H: ♋️or Moon in 2H
They told you that sensitivity and the intangible would never lead to real stability. That couldn’t be the furthest from the truth. Your finances thrive when you trust YOUR intuition and your imagination.
🗣️MERCURY influenced 2H: ♊️,♍️, or Mercury in 2H
They told you that you only advance in life when you silence yourself and commit to one thing. You however came here to learn from it all and to speak your mind. Your finances thrive when you share your voice and skills proudly.
🌹VENUS influenced 2H: ♉️,♎️, or Venus in 2H
They told you that beauty and art isn’t a “real” way to make money. So you turn to the mundane now, even though that doesn’t please you in the slightest. Your finances thrive when you accept pleasure and that you attract money with ease.
🔥MARS influenced 2H: ♈️,♏️, or Mars in 2H
They told you that you can’t get paid for your body and passions. That building someone else’s dream is the only way to make it in this world. Your finances thrive when you lean into ambition and enterprise.
📿JUPITER influenced 2H: ♐️,♓️, or Jupiter in 2H
They told you that your visions and aspirations were way too outlandish to create anything meaningful. Now you shrink your money goals. Your finances thrive when you pursue bigger dreams and expand your horizons.
🪐SATURN influenced 2H: ♑️,♒️, or Saturn in 2H
They told you that you if you didn’t follow the systems already built then there was no hope for you. Now you conform to structures that don’t truly resonate with you. Your finances thrive when you figure out what systems and career fields actually anchor your frequency.
Draconic Astrology Chart: The Chart Sitting Beneath Your Tropical and Vedic Chart
Most astrology conversations start with the tropical chart and stay there. For those who go further, the Vedic chart becomes the next layer. The draconic chart tends to get skipped entirely — even in conversations about going deeper — and it is the layer that sits beneath both of them.
The draconic chart recalculates your entire natal chart with the North Node placed at 0° Aries instead of the Vernal Equinox. The houses stay the same. The aspects stay the same. Every planet shifts into a completely different sign. The result is the same structural architecture as your natal chart, recalibrated around the soul's nodal axis rather than the Sun's seasonal position.
Tropical astrology shows the personality — how you move through the world in this lifetime. Vedic astrology shows the karmic path — what the soul is working through in the longer arc. Draconic astrology shows what was already operating before either of those layers took shape — the drives and motivations beneath the conditioning, the blueprint beneath the blueprint.
The full breakdown including the origins debate, the calculation method, and what it revealed in a real chart example is on the blog, link in my bio.
I’m a big nerd for Demon Slayer, and also for Vedic Astrology and Cardology (modern day playing cards). So I figured I’d finally write up the words that have been procreating in my brain like horny rabbits about what I can tell from each KNY character who we know the birthdays for!
Now, we know that Gotouge based characters off of real people—and from what I can tell, it’s very possible that they lifted the actual birthdays of these people, because the personality traits track!
I take this information into account when I write fics, so if this is helpful somehow for other authors (beyond their own intuition and felt sense, of course) then all the better.
I’ve been working on a couple of Rengoku fics lately, and it’s been a blast to feel into these influences as the stories take form!
Let’s dive in: Rengoku Kyojuro
Birthday: May 10
🌞 Sun Sign (in the western / tropical system): Taurus
I was surprised at first to learn that Rengoku’s sun is in Taurus. I'd figured he’d be a fire sun—Leo would be an obvious guess. But his Taurus sun makes things interesting! (Taurus is also my own eighth house, which might explain my surprise.)
Taurus is a fixed sign, which may point to his steadfast commitment to his goals and values. Fixed signs demonstrate consistency and stability, and great staying power.
It’s in the earth element, so much of how he expresses himself is through what he’s building in this earthly realm.
On a more superficial level, Taurus could also explain his love of food (sensual pleasure, associated with the feminine, Venus-ruled Taurus) and also for the arts (his favorite hobbies include watching wrestling and theater).
*UMAI! lol
To dive even deeper, I looked into the specific Nakshatra that his Taurus sun is in (one of the twenty-seven lunar mansions in Vedic astrology, which overlays, and is even more granular than the twelve zodiac signs, or rashis) and found that he is a Krittika Taurus sun, which explains a lot of things!
The Nakshatra of Krittika is symbolized by a knife or sharp object, is ruled by the sun, and Agni—the god of fire. Krittika would make the native inclined towards positions of leadership. Its spiritual intent is to purify the soul and cut away obstacles and confusion. It’s sharp, decisive, and absolutely spirited!
🌝 My guess for Rengoku’s Moon Sign: Sagittarius
As I’ve touched on in the astrology breakdown for Sanemi, Sagittarius is the sign of the warrior, and I can’t think of a more fitting placement for Rengoku, who is a warrior to his core.
A Sag moon would make him social, warm, optimistic (maybe sometimes to a fault!) with a strong idealistic zeal. He would be quick to anger but also quick to forgive, and more disposed towards adventure and action than emotionality and sentimentality.
Sagittarius is fire-ruled, which is masculine. It’s mutable, which would explain Rengoku’s dynamic and adaptable nature. It’s also ruled by Jupiter, which is expansive and generous.
In Vedic astrology, Jupiter is exalted in the sign of Cancer, ruled by the moon—and I’m inclined to give him this placement, which would mean that his Jupiter and moon exchange signs. This feels important, as much of his noble principles were transmitted to him by his mother, who he shares a profound relationship with even beyond the line between life and death.
🃏♦️ Cardology symbol, birth card: Nine of Diamonds
I get extra excited talking about Nine cards. (Maybe because one of my own is a Nine, ha!)
In cardology and numerology, nine is the greatest number—ten is a one and zero, which adds back down to one.
So in many ways Nine symbolizes endings. In a reading, a Nine card could indicate a loss, death, separation—something ending or coming to a close. In that way, Ones and Nines have a lot in common (which I may get into when I go into the breakdown for Tanjiro and Gotouge’s own cards)!
The image of the pips on the Nine card are similar to a rung on a ladder, and that’s a major theme in the lives of those born under this influence—they have the power to either uplift, or fall deeper into victimhood.
Rengoku is a positive example of what’s possible with the Nine influence, demonstrating a commitment to rise higher in life and in character.
Nines often take on roles of guide, teacher or priest in some ways—their love is directed towards the many, often seeing the world from a great, or elevated distance, for better or worse!
Like the Taurus influence, the diamond suit rules the senses—the things we can touch, see, feel and taste. As my own teacher of this system has said—at its most profound, the diamonds suit points to the values we hold dear, beyond that which rusts, or returns to dust.
🃏♣️ Cardology symbol, personality card: Two of Clubs
Much of the theme of the Two revolves around partnership, symbiosis and synthesis. Twos experience life through this question: Who am I, relative to the other?
Clubs represent the mind—thoughts, narrative, ideas and ideals.
This may point to the undercurrent question of who he is in relation to his family, the two starkly contrasted personalities of his father and mother—and how he is going to show up for his younger brother, Senjuro.
I think this influence explains Rengoku’s ability to attune and respond (in his dynamic way) to people’s emotions and feelings in the moment. He truly demonstrates the gift of connecting with each person he encounters.

Hidden within the numeric values of the 52-card deck is our solar year calendar. Check it out:
Take a deck of cards, add up the values of each card from the Ace (one) to 10, then 11 for the Jack, 12 for the Queen and 13 for the King.
The total will add up to 364.
Then add the Joker’s value of 1.25 which takes up “the remnant of days” (the leap year) and brings the total of the cards to 365.25 days of the solar year.
Other wild synchronicities:
52 cards in the deck and 52 weeks in the year.
Add 52 together (5+2) for the 7 days in a week.
7 days X 52 weeks are 364 days. Add the Jokers value of 1.25 and you once again have the 365.25 days of the year.
There are 4 Suits and 4 Seasons in a calendar year.
There are 13 cards per suit and 13 weeks per each season of the year.
Add 13 together (1+3) to remind us of the 4 seasons in a year.
Multiply 4 by 13 and you have 52—once again, 52 weeks of the year, and 52 cards in the deck.
Amazing, right? When you include celestial values into the mix, there is even more evidence of a hidden number system.
Add 52 together (5+2) for the 7 major planets in our solar system.
The 12 Crown Cards represent the 12 signs of the Zodiac.
13 cards per suit equal the 13 constellations, (includes Ophiuchus!)
13 cards = 13 new Moons per year.
Add 13 together (1+3) to get 4, signifying the 4 cardinal points of the compass, the 4 lunar phases each month, and the 4 elements: water, air, fire, and earth.
HOW TO USE THE CARDS
Self-Understanding
Know Thyself! is the mantra when you use the cards to understand the conditions and agreements of your soul. These conditions and agreements support your unfulfilled desires from previous lifetimes. Your unfulfilled desires are the chains that bind your soul to the wheel of life. Know them!
Relationships
The magnetic qualities of love and hate attract us to others with whom we have unfulfilled desires - over many lifetimes. These desires include the desire for love, sex, sympathy, revenge, nurturing, friendship, support, protection, peace and understanding. The cards and planets combine to show us how to reconcile our relationships, or put them to rest.
Self-Mastery
The ancients knew of the spiritual and metaphysical Laws that govern all life. The cards reveal the outcomes of past actions in a never ending drama of cause and effect. You can master these laws - in real time - if you know what they are. The cards were designed to show you the way.
Metasymbology is not a tool for telling fortunes, although it can be used for that. Nor does it associate karma with fate or destiny. Metasymbology is an ancient method of divine insight that shows you how you can reconnect to the qualities of your soul-nature and become the master of yourself.
