The blondes had been having an argument. Another argument. It had become a rather common occurrence for the two. They were just two people who didn’t seem to be able to leave out the quarrels and find peace with each other. The smallest things would set them off, arguing and fighting over the most miniscule and unimportant details. Rebekah didn’t like Caroline. Part of her did. A small part, which she could not deny, did like Caroline, and she hated it. She didn’t want to like her. She really didn’t. Rebekah glared at Caroline as she told her to shut up. The glare lasted for a few moments of silence, Rebekah choosing not to say anything in retaliation. The Original’s eyes drifted without her control to Caroline’s lips. Without thinking, instead acting purely on impulse, Rebekah cupped the younger vampires face and pressed a kiss to her lips.
