Having doubts about my graphic designer career. What's the point of keep applying if I keep getting rejected, ignored, or scammed? My work is just not good enough for any job. And I'm already feel chewed up and spit out.
It's best to just hang the career up for now....

Do not Call me Unprofessional
I AM NOT AN UNPROFESSIONAL HAUNTER! When a haunt calls you unprofessional because you refuse to return make up you bought OUT OF POCKET until they reimburse you as they said they would.
They said checks would be ready Wednesday and they wouldn't. And I had a prior engagement Friday. So when I told them when I could make it if it wasn't ready today they told me I was holding the make up for ransom and being unprofessional.
NO.
I only kept it because it was $230 worth of make up that I was not looking to have coming up missing. After a costume already came up missing.
I hate that anywhere that offers advice on something like graphic design to those struggling to break in always assume you’re fresh out of college.
Not everyone can afford college, and not everyone falls for the “pull out a bunch of loans because debt isn’t as important as this here piece o’ paper” schtick.
I get that it’s competitive, but this is feeling like a good ol’ boys club where they don’t want anyone knowing the secret handshake.
