reminder for myself (career edition)
I want to share my response to the questions that help me to accurately pinpoint what is my professional goals in life and able to remind myself. I want also to have something to go back to when I question myself again about what do I really want to do in my life. In my life of full of inconsistencies and indecisiveness I have experienced throughout my adolescence, I believe my chosen career path right now will help me walk towards the prosperous future that I will go into.
I keep trying to pursue what career that I will feel good or feel always inspired but I realized when you solely focus on that kind of feeling, somehow it might change or fade eventually. I believe it is important first to decide what you want and stick to it and commit to it. In the future, you will be uninspired and unmotivated but regardless of the state of emotions you have, you need to keep in your mind that you decided to commit to it and you will try your best to pursue sticking with that goals.
So, here are the questions that help me decide to commit in my career goals.
1. Why did you take BSBA – MMMD as your course in college?
I shifted from BSA to BSBA – MMMD. I believe as a student of business administration major in marketing and multimedia design course will help me hone my skills in developing strategies for businesses and in the future of my own company. I have this personality that I always want to be involved in activities that formulate widespread creative innovation in marketing, advertising, and public relation. Therefore, I’m looking forward to the knowledge and skills that FEU Alabang could provide for my personal and professional growth as a BSBA – MMMD student.
2. What is your “Dream Job”?
I’m dreaming of a high-paying job, flexible in time, and yet fulfilling. Nowadays, with the help of modern technology and remote work, it is possible. I deemed that my goal job as a Marketing Specialist / Strategist would attain this kind of my dream job setup. Moreover, I am praying for my own business in the future that would apply for my course as BSBA – MMMD and my experience in
3. How do you see yourself ten years from now?
Ten years from now, I am already 30 years old. So, I perceive that I am working part-time enjoyably and feel fulfilled. I am currently establishing or expanding my own business with the best environment and great employees. I also have different kinds of investments and real estate investments or businesses. I’m still hustling but I don’t feel burnt out. I will be able to travel by myself and with my family. I also support certain charities.
