A MigiMoMent: Let’s Get Physical (Therapy)!! So proud of the strides MigiMo is making in her physical therapy!!! She works really hard with Margaret and that transfers over to when she works with me, too!! Today was the FIRST TIME she has walked outside since she broke her leg in January!!! She even walked all the way to the sidewalk!! GO MIGI GO!!!
A Migi MoMent:
MIGI MO: “Do we have any more spaghetti [it’s actually mac n cheese]?”
ME: “Finish your salad if you want more Mac n cheese!”
Since when did I become the “mealtime police”? So funny how the roles are reversed at this stage in our journey together.

A Migi MoMent: Nurses, Reminders and After-Dinner Treats
me: "don't forget, mom...the nurse is coming tomorrow." migi mo: "huh?!" me: "[a bit louder and slower] the. nurse. is. coming. tomorrow!" migi mo: "what?!? i can't hear you!!! [pointing to her ear--our internal sign language to indicate whether or not she is wearing her hearing aids]" me: "THE NURSE!!" migi mo: "DESSERT?!? [look of incredulity on her cute little face!]" welcome to my world.
