Every once in awhile I think about the guy I first loved. I used to be so mad at him for everything he did to me but now I’m grateful. It sounds stupid but he taught me that I deserved better and I’m no one’s therapist. Or anyone’s mother, I will no longer tolerate people who are so negative. I will not force myself to lower my standards and for what.

I take maybes as no. I no longer feel the need to beg someone to be with me. If you don’t say you want me then you will lose me. Good riddance because at the end of the day my happiness matters more to me then some relationship.

I will always come first to myself no matter what. And it took until him to teach me that.
