WTF CANADA??
A terrorist, CONVICTED IN 4 MURDER IN FRANCE.
Is going to be the new professor of Carleton University for social justice.
I have to admit. There's something really unlawful about how no one's talking about it.

@cree-n-jewish-thoughts heard anything about it?
Carleton’s Silent Dance is the kind of beautifully weird tradition that makes you fall in love with a school. 🏫💓
Picture this: hundreds of students gathered outside at midnight, dancing under the stars to music only they can hear through headphones.
Three different DJs, three different vibes, everyone moving to their own beat yet somehow creating this collective moment of pure joy.
To an outsider it looks absurd. To anyone there, it's absolute magic. That’s the Carleton energy. 🎧✨💜

Merci, Canada! 🇨🇦
Canadians rebuked Donald Trump by giving Prime Minister Mark Carney's Liberal Party a win in Monday's parliamentary election.
This may be the most remarkable event in Canadian political history. Just before Christmas the Liberals under then Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had sunk to about 20% in the polls. But Donald Trump's trade war, tariffs, and threats to annex Canada intervened and Canadians gravitated en masse to the party seen as most protective of Canadian sovereignty.
On Monday, the Liberal Party got 43.5% of the popular vote and won 168 seats in the 343 member House of Commons. That leaves them 4 seats short of a majority. But there are a number of ridings where some precincts haven't reported or early votes have not been fully counted; some show the Liberals down my margins as small as 24 votes. It's now a matter of whether the Liberals will form a majority or a minority government.
The icing on the cake is that Pierre Poilievre, leader of the Conservative Party, lost his own seat in the riding of Carleton. Poilievre had held the seat since 2004.
Liberal Bruce Fanjoy topples Pierre Poilievre in Carleton
For all hardcore political geeks, here's a list of ridings with incomplete returns. We may know by Tuesday evening which parties won these seats.
The Liberals have at least a 50-50 chance of making it to a majority. Even if they don't, they could cut a deal with the NDP as they did after the previous election in 2021.
Carleton's incumbent MP, Pierre Poilievre is marketing himself as the jobs candidate, "paychecks not debt!" right?
Well, I looked at more than just a few of his votes in Parliament (more than can fit here). And I'd have to disagree with that.
Pierre Poilievre consistently votes in Parliament against the interests of working Canadians, and even small businesses and in favour of mega corporations and ultra wealthy.
Seems to me, the louder he pounds his chest about jobs for you and me, the more he has worked against them in Ottawa.

Recently discovered this absolute banger cover/remix of the all time dancehall classic Dis The Trinity. Blazing tune this one.
Done in combination style with 5 artists on the track.
