Hey! Just popping in to say I was sad to see Denise is no longer on Instagram! I wonder why she left. And before andor season 2 started airing. 😩 I know she was still active last fall when she was doing that play on the west end.

I know, I miss her insta so much! It’s been gone for a few months now. Before that, she deleted and returned several times. So there’s hope she could come back one day, I guess. Whatever she chooses to do, I hope she’s happy.

Hello! I'm sorry in advance for the long message. I just needed to share this with someone who would understand my freak out.

So, I went to the high school they use for filming Stranger Things a few weeks back and as I walked by the front of the building I noticed these.

I immediately went, "😱 PICNIC TABLE BENCHES??? Could it be???!?!? Is this where the magic happened?!?"

They certainly have the right look!

In all fairness, I doubt they actually filmed The Forest Scene™️ right by the high school because the tree line was pretty thin in person. However, in my opinion it wouldn't make sense for them to build a whole new bench and then make it look old for the scene when they already have these on location.

I also went back and watched some scenes from "The Hellfire Club" and noticed they put extras at these tables in this spot in the background of some shots at the high school.

However! They shoot out of order and did the forest scene late in the schedule so they could've easily grabbed one of these for that scene and then brought it back.

So in conclusion! I am choosing to believe THE Bench can be found at the high school set until I'm proven otherwise. Please just let me have this.

I honestly have no clue, so I couldn’t debunk the theory/crush your hope if I wanted to!

Here's a fun question. What do you think Eddie was doing instead of attending the pep rally in episode 1? We know he doesn't give a lick about basketball but we also know he likes the cheerleaders so what do you think?

Was he preparing for the campaign? Did he just ditch anyway? Did he seize the opportunity to steal some chocolate pudding from the cafeteria á la Dustin Henderson? Was he screaming into his backpack because he got a note from Chrissy in his locker saying she wanted to meet? The world is your oyster!

Hey! Thank you so much for this, had a good time thinking about it! I love all these options, but my immediate thought process was that he didn't leave school except to go get snacks for the campaign. And meet Chrissy with the drugs, obviously. In my head, he went out to his van, prepped for the campaign, maybe popped in to set up in the drama department, maybe caught a glimpse of the championship game setup while going back and forth, and just basically spent the whole time chilling in the car. Smoking. Drinking beer. Trying to remember where he kept the Special K back home. A trip to the convenience store and back for some Mountain Dew and pretzels. A D&D campaign is not a D&D campaign without sufficient vittles. I would like to think he went to get chocolate pudding with Dustin, but Dustin spent that whole time trying to find a sub for the game. And I don't know if Eddie had any major thoughts about Chrissy asking for drugs (however she did it). He probably was totally shocked ("straight as an arrow" Chrissy) and baffled, but far be it from him to turn down a deal. Plus it's Chrissy, she's cute and popular. Even if he had that back-burner crush on her since middle school, the one I'm always talking about, it wouldn't flare up just from her requesting a drug deal. I think he'd be surprised, maybe wear extra deodorant, and focus on the Cult of Vecna for the rest of the time until he sees her. I really have fun thinking about them not in mortal danger, but still in canon. Thanks again!
