Facebook Whore

Dear Facebook, I hate you with the passion, you are way too addicting and somehow manage to become even more addicting when finals come along. When I'm super bored with nothing to do, you fail at entertaining me but when I have a ton of work to get done you manage to distract me. I hate you... Okay I can't hate you, I'm addicted. But I was checking my Facebook friends today and somehow I have 1000 friends? whatttt I remember before college I only had like 400.. never thought I would make this many friends, and yesss I personally know all of them, I made sure of it. So don't think I'm one of THOSE guys. I love meeting people it might be another one of my addictions, "Hi my name is Carlos and I'm a socialholic!" hmm... awkward... how about "friendaholic" ... maybe It should just be manwhore? Idk. Time to get back to studying... after I check my Facebook of course... since the last time I checked it was 3 minutes ago. :)

Soccer

I play soccer to slow everything down. It allows me to de-stress and just enjoy life in general. The love I have for the sport drives me insane. Something as simple as kicking the ball will relieve me from everything causing me any negative harm. At soccer practice today, the first time I go in like 2 weeks, I felt so comfortable and just amazed as to how something so simple can be so graceful and peaceful. I look forward to playing soccer until I can't anymore but forget about the future and live in the present. Just acknowledge the decisions made in the present can and will ultimately affect your future. Something that can so simply put a smile on your face is something you should continue doing. Simply reading the word "Soccer" or "Fútbol" or "Football" (in English Terms) bring back nostalgia and soothes my mind, turning it away from running at a million miles an hour during one of THOSE nights.

Gym

Wow you really do see everything in college, I was at the gym (Yes, I'm serious. I was working out before Soccer practice) anyways, I was on a machine and I see an older man, about 65-ish, walking up to an intense workout machine in a walker. I thought to myself, "Man, this guy has motivation, I hope to be as motivated as he when I become his age." And I'm not gonna lie, he was pretty ripped!

500 Days of Summer...

.... seems so familiar... I hate it. I hate Summer... Wait.. What am I even doing watching a movie like that... Oh yeah all these girls talk about it so we decided to watch it. It was a good movie overall but Summer is a jerk. Ugghhhh I can't even say anything because I feel I might have done the same thing Summer did..

What should I do with my life?

I came to Davis as an Electrical engineering major because it sounded cool. Super deep meaning behind it right? Well anyways, happens that I struggle with all the math classes. Weird because I was ranked number 1 or 2 in math at my high school according to some math test the school gave us. THEY LIED TO ME!!! Whatevs, it's life we move on, shit happens, The End, blah blah. Soooooooooooo I began talking to my friends about different majors and International Relations came up. Hmmm sounds epic, you get travel, you're a business person and what-not. I began taking classes for IR and I like them. The thing is I have no clue what I plan to do with it. Sooo yeah I went to the Sociology and Anthropology advisers and they gave me some great information. I found both majors super interesting. Sooo now I'm debating between International Relations, Sociology, oooorrrrr Anthropology. I have no clue what I want to do with my life. Fuck it, I'll become a stripper. They make bank right?

At The Airport

Sooooo as I wait for my 8:30 am flight, currently it’s 6:31 am, I notice people staring at me… I’m just like, “What? Do I have something on my face? Is my fly down? Are my shoes untied? Did my pocket fall?” But then I remember the Pepper Spraying incident we had on campus about a month ago… I look at what I’m wearing and notice I’m wearing my UC Davis Club Soccer warm up jacket :O Now I know why… People are probably like, “This guy got pepper sprayed since he goes to Davis :O” If they come up to me and ask I will say “Why yes, Yes I was.” (A little ignorant but it’s all good, our school got that much cooler ;D) That way I’ll look cool and like a hero and what-not ;) lol
