since your blog has temporarily become a company discourse space i want to know what you and your followers think about the peter/bobby proposition scene. does that make you more or less likely to think bobby is bi/gay? (personally i think it raises more questions than it answers and that it doesn't definitively settle him as straight at all)

I don’t think it settles anything at all either, and I think that’s one of the things that I like about it and also one of the things I think it’s easy to get frustrated about.

The whole point of Company is that relationships are complicated! Nothing is perfect and there’s no one right or wrong way to live or love except that you HAVE to do both! And so nothing really should be settled except for that idea.

(Additionally, and this is a separate topic entirely, but Company is also supposed to be complicated with tone and emotion).

I’ve always thought that Bobby was bi, personally, and just didn’t want to or couldn’t convey that.
