omg hi rory <3
i do have many thoughts abt SMNT its always rattling around in my head as i sit in class and work on my work projects! hmmmm what shall i share….
rn im kinda debating POV switches and how i want to execute those, and i have many thoughts on that…
i am also always thinking abt librarian gansey and i think you guys are rly gonna like what ive decided to do with blue’s character as well. and them TOGETHER oh i feel so chef’s kiss about it. like i cracked the code or something (even tho its not even that crazy lol)
ive also decided i do want chapters to be longer, bc i think that works better w my narrative flow, and thats why this update has been taking a while! i end classes in 2 weeks tho so im hoping to have much more time to write then.
sneak peak of ch. 4:
Listen," Gansey said, as he was getting ready to leave. "I'm having a get together tonight. A barbeque specifically. You should come. A lot of people will be there. Perhaps it could be helpful? To the case. To get to know people, I mean." "Tonight?" "If the notice is too short I understand. I'm sure you're very busy,” Gansey smiled, a conciliatory thing that Adam found simultaneously slightly irritating and yet quite kind. Adam was very busy. He was a state detective. He didn't have time, not time that could be spent sorting through these photos properly before work tomorrow. But, on the other hand, it was a very nice offer. He could use Henrietta's head librarian in his corner, and Gansey was right that it would allow him to network. People needed to trust him, and meeting him in a normal context would be much better than if he showed up at their door with a lot of intrusive questions. "I'll come by. Thank you for the invitation, that's very nice of you." It was actually very nice of him. Adam didn't quite know what to think of it. Gansey smiled, clearly pleased. "Great. Let me write down the address."
