Perfume Review: Carmen 7 by Alkemia
Personal impression:
Smoky yet crystalline bright. Like if you washed your sheets with white florals, dried them in the sun, made the bed, had sex in it, then burned incense on your nightstand. Musk of the afterglow. Sophisticated, but with a naughty streak. A bowl of cold pear slices drizzled in caramel. Reverse cowgirl while wearing a string of pearls around your throat.

*Official scent notes: spiced pear, lychee, French pralines, bourbon vanilla, crushed almond blossoms, gardenia, star jasmine, magnolia, and amber
*As listed on Alkemia's website
My final verdict: Anything from Alkemia with amber and praline notes is usually a guaranteed personal favourite. I wear this often in the summer. A beautifully blended gourmand-leaning scent that still retains a floral elegance. I get wafts of incense smokiness throughout the day that give this perfume a head-turning edge.
Wear this when: You're hooking up with your August situationship and you want them to remember it forever.
