Quick sketch of one of my few Malkavians, Doe! She's for @thesixthplaneteer's Carmichael Chronicles. Her curse is that she can "hear the narrator" who is story-telling Carmichael's journey as he navigates the Supernatural side of Tacoma! All this meta knowledge and no way to really articulate it - she wants to stay in her lane but unfortunately she's hyper aware that the show must go on...

Today's snip is another snip from The Carmichael Chronicles! I've made no edits to it form the current state in the dock because this is a WIP so obviously it will be a little messy!
Next the case on the night stand was a brass flip-top cigarette lighter. No indicating markings on it. Also old like the case. It had a few dings and the same kind of tiny scratched all over it. I flipped it open and thumbed the striker, the yellow nad orange flame sparked to life, and for a moment I thought my heart had beat. I yelled and recoiled back from the flame like it was a venomous snake. Something inside me wanted to break loose. Every muscle and bone in me said to run, to get away. Thankfully the flame went out when the lighter hit the floor. Otherwise I don't think I would have had an apartment for too much longer. I left the light on the floor. Moved away from ti like it was toxic. I didn't need it right now. I needed to keep looking for answers. My wallet was on the nightstand opposit. A state ID, three hundred bucks cash, and nothing else. The various business cards I kept tucked away were gone. No credit cards. No spare key. Just cash and the ID- but the ID was for the wrong state. It was for Washington State. I live in Illinois.

Celestino Salazar and Carmichael Lee - two Toreadors from two very different walks of unlife - can't wait to meet you! Though be warned, one is a Black Hand and the other is a amnesiac Supernatural private eye! Please please please draw your favorite Toreador OC (ALTHOUGH ANY OC FROM ANY CLAN IS WELCOME IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE!!) alongside ours (these characters belong to me and @thesixthplaneteer) so that everyone can celebrate the lurv! ❤️
Like the other collaborations, I will take all submissions at the deadline and smush them all into one final collab piece - the deadline will be February 17th!! (A Monday!) I tried to answer how to submit here in case you were curious! It would be great for you to post a PNG of your character beneath a cut when you reblog the piece just for easier management!

Have a VERY VERY ROUGH sketch of Sylvie... Sylvie belongs to @thesixthplaneteer for his Carmichael Lee Chronicles story (takes place in the World of Darkness ofc)! She's a Ministry/Follower of Set who is an extremely crunchy almond yoga instructor type BUT I'm not sure how much more I should share without Planeteer's input. :3c Just know we should probably all be wary of her private yoga lessons...
WIP Snip Saturday!
Oh gosh, thank you @cynical-tuba and @porcelainseashore for tagging me for WIP Wednesday!!!! I'm a few days late so I'm rolling it into wip snip Saturday! but I actually have a little bit I can share that is actually VtM/WoD related!
Here is a tid-bit from my outline for The Carmichael Chronicles!
Follows claw marks to a cargo container that is burnt up on the inside, claw marks like the other's on the door show that something got out of here, Carmichael finds other bodies, people or vampires, who knows? There are hot plates set up and large battery banks that obviously went up in flames. The place was obvs some hidden cook house. But what escaped the flames? (It seems obvs the fire was caused from the cook but it was actually [REDACTED] that tossed a little firebomb into the container and shut it from the outside. She didn't know about the creature.) Carmichael is being over come with "emotion", strangely and strongly so, yet also feels weirdly at ease and more comfortable than he has been. One of the batteries that survived goes up in flames and Doe helps Carmichael down from his rotschreck with malk powers

Info: my big project im working on is a story following a Toreador fledgling, Carmichael Lee, who only had the briefest peaks behind the vail before being thrown into the world~~~~of darkness
I still haven't fully sold writing 1st person to myself but that's how I'm currently doing it. This snip is a bit of the intro and Carmichael waking up from his embrace.
The Carmichael Chronicles: Shadows Under the Bridge
Blinding pain darkens the sight. Heartbeats deafens the sounds. I want to stay, I want to run away. I want the eyes on me I want the eyes turned away. I want the touch, I want the pain. I want the change, I want the same. I want. I want. I want. I give.
A searing twisting pain pulled at my stomach like a burning hand trying to rip my guts out. The floor was hard as I landed on it. I didn't know I was in bed, or even moving. It didn't hurt. My body outwardly felt numb but, Inside It felt like every organ was at war with the other. My brain trying to push out of my skull through my eyes. My stomach pouring acid on my intestines. My every nerve electrocuting every muscle. My teeth felt like they were growing and shrinking at the same time. My mouth was dry. I felt a thirst like never before. The kind of thirst that would drive a man to drink sea water, knowing it will only do more damage but the vain hope of satisfying that thirst for even a moment would be enough to throw away salvation.
